Multiple pet owners may save money by using a pet sitter, rather than boarding. More convenient - you don't have to take/pick up your pets from kennels. Pets staying in their own homes are not exposed to parasites and germs from other strange animals. Most pets are better off at home. But in certain instances, a small per cent of animals are better off being boarded. I've lived in Bay Area for years and am familiar with all of the kennels.
